I’ve been asked a lot of questions over the years at the shop. Which flowers last the longest? What should I get for a sympathy arrangement? How do I keep my roses from drooping?
But now and then, someone asks something a little different. Which flower are you?
It sounds like a silly question. But after four decades at the design bench, I’ve noticed that people really do have flower personalities. Some people walk into the shop and go straight to the roses - no hesitation, no browsing. Others gravitate to the sunflowers like they’re magnetized. A few quietly pick up the lavender and stand there smelling it.
You can tell a lot about a person by which flowers they’re drawn to.
So I put together a little quiz: seven questions, no right or wrong answers. Just pick what feels true and see which bloom comes up. I took it myself and landed on alstroemeria, which honestly surprised me at first. Then I thought about it for a second and figured, yeah, that tracks.
Give it a try and see what you get.

How would your closest friends describe you?
Pick the bouquet you’d most want to receive.
What’s your relationship with routine?
What quality do you value most in other people?
How do you tend to handle stress?
So which flower did you get? Drop it in the comments below. I’m curious whether the result surprised you or if you saw it coming a mile away.
Til next time,
