With prom season just around the corner, some of you may be interested in what’s trending in prom flowers this year. From everything I’ve seen, read, and heard, it will again be about the “bling” but with a few interesting new twists.

The Pantone Color Institute chose Mocha Mousse as its color of the year last year, so look for this subtle hue in prom flower designs this season. Cloud Dancer is the 2026 color of the year, so this will likely be a hot color for proms this year, too.

What Promgoers Will Be Wearing

Floral designers seeking inspiration should look at the latest prom dress trends.

For 2026, prom dress trends blend classic femininity with bold modern drama.

When it comes to colors, bold prints are in, but pastels remain a staple for 2026, often paired with ruffles and bows to lean into a soft, romantic aesthetic.

Fashion flower jewelry will be front and center again this year, from new styles of beaded and jeweled bracelets to all types of unusual accents.

Here’s a short video showcasing this season’s latest prom flower design trends. I think you’re going to come away with a few ideas. Take a look and see!

Awesome corsage ideas. I hope you enjoyed it!

Many of the floral bracelets, accessories, and accents featured in the video are from Fitz Design, the hottest product line for proms and weddings used today by floral professionals.

If you are considering making a corsage for yourself, you can find a great selection of corsage bracelets on Amazon.

And while we’re on the subject, the flowers used in the corsages and boutonnieres, including dendrobium orchids, can easily be ordered from your local florist.

I recommend doing that since you only need a handful of high-quality blooms.

That said, I’ve come across several more posts featuring unique floral ideas with some of the new fashion flower jewelry and accessories that might interest you.
